I received a text from Simon Taylor informed me of a Little Gull at Sithians Reservoir. I missed the Little Gull but found this drake American Wigeon hybrid among fifteen or so Eurasian Wigeon. Mashuq Ahmad has since mentioned that the rear flanks are too grey for a normal American Wigeon and is a hybrid. Furthermore, an email from Tony Blunden and Andy Pay confirm that this hybrid was also recorded on The Lizard last year. The image at the bottom was taken by Tony Blunden of presumably the same bird, second from right, showing brownish/pink flanks but greying towards the rear flank. More of Tony's images are here: Lizard Naturally (The male Eurasian Wigeon is shown second from bottom for comparison.)
Male Eurasian Wigeon below shown for comparison.

What a cracker! Very nice turn-up!
You must be a magnet to the rares, good for you.
Nice photos and find Steve.
That second photo looks like a completely different bird with those brown cheeks but obviously must be a trick of the light?
Henry Cook.
Hi Henry - you are correct, it is just different light perspectives.
Hi Steve
It looks very like the bird from Windmill last year?
