Yellow Wagtail at Davidstow

Yellow Wagtail seems to have had a good breeding season as migrants are being reported in reasonable numbers this autumn in Cornwall.  Yellow Wagtail formerly bred in Cornwall but incredibly, has not done so since the 60's, though of note, this year a Blue-headed Wagtail bred on the Lizard.  This first year bird was photographed this afternoon at Davidstow disused airport.

The light was reasonable so I increased the aperture to F/10.

  1. Superb images as usual! Any sign of the Curlew Sand'?
